World’s BEST Homemade Ranch
My secret ranch recipes that I consider to be the BEST out there right now! Creamy, tangy, herb-forward ranch that puts bottled versions to shame. This is the one I always come back to.
Everyone claims they have the best homemade ranch, but most of them are just slightly upgraded bottled versions. This one is different.
It’s creamy without being heavy, tangy without being sharp, and balanced enough that you actually want to keep dipping instead of getting tired of it. Fresh herbs, a little acidity, and just enough seasoning to make everything taste better without overpowering what you’re eating.
This is my go-to ranch — the one I make when I want it done right.
½ cup mayonnaise (I prefer homemade)
½ cup sour cream
2–4 tablespoons buttermilk
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
¼ teaspoon sugar
⅛ teaspoon MSG
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
