Comeback Sauce
Because once you try it, you will be coming back for more. Creamy, tangy, smoky, and dangerously addictive.
Comeback Sauce is one of those sauces that somehow exists everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Depending on who you ask, it either came from the South, a diner that never cleaned their griddle, or that one friend who “just threw some stuff together” and accidentally created something legendary.
What is agreed on is this: once it hits the table, it doesn’t leave. Fries disappear faster. Chicken tenders become vehicles. Burgers suddenly feel incomplete without it. People take one bite and immediately say something along the lines of, “Yeah… I’m gonna need more of that.”
This is my version. Balanced, not too sweet, not too spicy, just enough smoke to make it interesting. It’s the kind of sauce that lives in your fridge longer than planned because you keep finding new excuses to use it. And yes—people will ask for the recipe. You can choose whether or not you give it to them.

½ tablespoon hot sauce

¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
